Dr. Randee Robinson (she/her)

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Washington. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent 15 years as a nurse at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center in both medical and psychiatric settings.

Through this work, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from many educational, spiritual, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds, which has profoundly influenced my practice. I strive to create an inclusive environment where all my clients receive respectful, high-quality care. I am particularly passionate about serving fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community and people of color.

My approach as a psychiatric provider is informed by harm reduction, Health at Every Size (HAES), and a blend of humanistic and liberation psychology.  While I use the Diagnostic Statistical Manual as a shared clinical language, I remain deeply aware of its limitations and of the ways psychiatry has historically pathologized difference, marginalized communities, and individual responses to systemic harm. I hold that people do not exist in tidy diagnostic boxes, and that much about the human mind remains complex, relational, and not yet fully understood. This perspective provides a careful, collaborative approach to care that centers your goals as well as integrating evidence-based practice.

I offer comprehensive psychiatric assessments followed by treatment options that may include medication management, deprescribing, brief supportive therapy, behavior change counseling, health education, and/or referrals, always guided by your goals and values.

I aim to create a space where you feel empowered to make informed decisions about your care. You are the expert on your own life. I look forward to building a collaborative partnership in which we work together to better understand your experiences and support you in realizing your goals.

Areas of Focus: ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression and Mood Disorders, LGBTQIA+ mental health, PTSD, Substance Use, and Complex Trauma

Outside of my practice, I enjoy doing crafts, spending time with my cats and chosen family, and swimming.
