Kacie Yost, PsyD (She/Her)

Hi, I’m Kacie! I am a licensed psychologist specializing in empowering high-achieving women and emerging young adults. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the importance of tailoring my approach to each individual’s unique needs. My therapeutic style combines interpersonal, emotion-focused, relational, and cognitive-behavioral techniques, and emphasizes the importance of empowerment, self-compassion and self-esteem. I prioritize cultural sensitivity and awareness and foster a safe space where clients can feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable and explore deep-rooted patterns that may be interfering with daily functioning and relationships.

I believe in using humor and creativity in the therapy room to help clients feel more at ease, encouraging self-expression and fostering a positive, open space for growth and healing. By taking a compassionate approach towards oneself, we can create a supportive internal dialogue that allows us to overcome obstacles and failures without falling into self-judgment and criticism.

I focus on taking off the band-aid, delving deeper into the root causes of problems to help clients make valuable changes in their lives. Through building a trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients, we work together to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

I hold a Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. I am licensed psychologist in the states of Washington and Colorado. I work with individuals and adults for individual therapy. I look forward to meeting you!
