Join Our Onalaska Farmland Project

After decades of living in a beautiful old house in the Central District, our member Cristien Storm has invited GHA to join her in creating a community supported farmland healing and artists’ residency space. In June, her horse Lakota moved in and - thanks to our growing community of supporters - the project is up and rolling.

Our hope is to create a space - an eco-system, really - reflecting our values of symbiotic relationship, bio-diversity, intergenerational care, and alternative economy. This is a vision to build a world of mutual care rather than extraction. Of interdependence and belonging rather than isolation.

More concretely, we hope to offer equine therapy, space for rituals, gatherings and journeys, and a retreat venue.
