Rosie O’Connor (they/them)

Hi! Thanks for your interest in my profile!

I'm Rosie and use they/them pronouns. I'm a community member, sibling, dog parent, and queer plant lover! I'm also a licensed clinical social worker, WA state approved supervisor and politicized somatic coach.

I am primarily a relational and experiential therapist that moves from a radically anti oppressive framework and may integrate somatic work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and parts work into our healing relationship. I firmly believe that healing happens through the tissues of our body and in relationship with others. The body has incredible wisdom and our tissues hold so many stories that inform the way we move through the world. Through our relationship together, we can uncover how your identities and experiences have shaped you into your current version, explore what parts of those shapings are really working for you and what things might be resized or reshaped to offer more alignment with your values and longings.

I love working with adolescents and college students, queer and trans folks and folks in the mental health field. I also have many years of experience working with recently arrived immigrants, refugees and war impacted folks and would love to continue working with this population as well. Finally, I am deepening my work around somatic coaching with activists, organizers and providers, so if any of that sounds like you, please reach out!
